PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

ASMP-MPLS - American Society of Media Photographers Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter, supporting the professional photographic community with member discounts, community resources, photographer networking and more.

PPA - Professional Photographers of America is the world’s largest nonprofit association for professional photographers, seeks to increase its members’ business savvy as well as broaden their creative scope, advancing careers by providing all the tools for success...as they have since 1880.

WPPI - Wedding Photographers International, an organization devoted solely to the special interests and needs of wedding photographers.


MULTI-PURPOSE CENTERS

MPLS PHOTO CENTER - Where photo professionals and enthusiasts alike come together to work and learn, to discover and experience, to create, exhibit and become members of this unique community dedicated to photography and all its media and processes.

IFP MINNEAPOLIS - IFP Minnesota Center for Media Arts facilitates interaction between the creative, technical and business aspects of filmmaking and photography. The organization does this through targeted programs that aid in the professional development of its members, supports individual projects, teaches both new technology and classic mediums, cultivates audiences for independent media, and provides outreach to communities and individuals new to media making. The IFP Minnesota Center for Media Arts continues to serve as a destination for those seeking to develop, nurture and embrace independent thinking and expression.

MINNEAPOLIS COMMUNITY EDUCATION - facilitates the learning and participation of adults and children so they can improve their lives and their community.

ST. PAUL COMMUNITY EDUCATION - Community Education seeks to improve the quality of life by providing lifelong learning opportunities for all members of the community.

DIGITAL PHOTO ACADEMY - DPA workshops in Minneapolis, taught by professional photographers Anthony Schreck and Michael Dvorak. Classes are held at the ABS Photo Studio.

EDINA ART CENTER - Our facilities, faculty, programs and services support many two and three-dimensional artistic pursuits, including painting, ceramics, drawing and media arts.\
